AnneMarie Burgess of Minnesota sent this bit of discredited talk radio speculation to OfftheBus. In the clip, a purported neurosurgeon explains how new national health care regulations will require an “ethics board” to review many neurological disorders for patients over 70.
Snopes.com says the information in the clip, which came from The Mark Levin radio show in November, is false, and also states that the American Associaion of Neurological Surgeons has “determined the caller is not a neurosurgeon.”
Burgess received it as a WMA file attachment in an email sent in a chain letter, headlined “Listen to this phone call - you won’t believe what is being planned for the elderly.”
