I enjoyed this piece of MTA-approved art on the N Train. The bouncing ball bookends both sides, so you can’t tell if it’s coming or going to the kid with the rat tail. Pictures like this — very dense, with lots going on — should replace the legion of haikus by Toni Morrison and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that the MTA regularly puts up.
